GAME DEVELOPMENT
My Position
For Injustice 2 I was an Associate Software Engineer on the gameplay team at NetherRealm Studios (WB Games Inc). For an updated list of features I worked on, check out the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition page.
Responsibilities
Develop gameplay functionality in collaboration with designers
Implementing special moves
Developing character power UI
Scripting VFX
Work on game-level engine features and functions such as collision systems
Write clean and optimal code to company standards (both style and performance)
Build UI screens in Adobe Flash from wireframe prototypes
Program Flash screens to function in game using the Autodesk Scaleform engine
Refactor methods and interfaces to be more optimal without breaking existing functionality
Work in an Agile framework
